The Unity Ride DVD is now available to buy, and can be purchased online, via www.unityride.co.uk or from www.thelondonbikers.com

The DVD cost just £6.99, proceeds of which are going to the Bombings Relief Fund.

Ultimate Finish Racing take trophy at Brands!

Easter Monday, 2006 and the KRC Endurance series visited Brands Hatch for the first round of the 2006 Endurance series.

Ultimate Finish Racing had changed bikes to a new GSXR750 and moved up into class D for the new season, with changes to the rider lineup and pit crew as well. Riders Darren Curzon (aka Trouty, thelondonbikers.com), Tim Pritchard and Darren Cooke were dealt a blow at the start by not being able to get onto the track for the start of the race at 12:00, instead, having to start from pit lane AFTER all the other teams had passed the line.

Despite this, each of the riders kept their heads together during their stints and kept the bike going throughout the duration of the 6 hour race and gradually climbed up through the standings.

The race ended at 6pm after 6 gruelling hours and some very close racing, to finish 11th overall, taking 3rd place in class D (750cc IL4's/1000cc twins).

Round 2 will be held at Snetterton on Saturday 20th May 2006, where the team hope to maintain form.

Bike theft higher than cars...

MCIA (Motor Cycle Industry Association) published the annual report on motorcycles theft in the UK, and it's pretty bad. The report looks at the year 2000, and it becomes apparent that motorcycles stand TWICE the chance of being stolen then cars !!

Shakey out for Valencia

Shakey Byrne’s topsy-turvy season took another dramatic twist today (Nov 1) when his deal to ride the Camel Honda RC211V at Valencia this weekend fell apart.

Vermeulen to Suzuki

Suzuki has officially introduced Chris Vermeulen as part of the 2006 MotoGP squad at the International Motorcycle Show in Birmingham.

The Australian rider was at the show to announce his departure from World Superbikes and the Ten kate Honda squad. Although he has competed for Camel Honda as a wildcard in the last two GP rounds, he now cannot race in the final round at Valenica as it will be a conflict of interest with his new employer.

New Server Issues...

So, why have we moved to this server?? Well the previous one worked, but it has been up and down like a yo-yo this year, and the hosts (westlin) were pretty much uncontactable. I was often left wondering wether they were even still in business!

But this one doesn't seem very stable?
mmm, yes, there are some teething troubles. I am very confident that between ourselves and the new webhosts (nativespace), we can resolve these problems. The customer support has so far been very impressive which is why i want to stay with them and work these issues out.
